Every up dates are a tad better each time. ❤️

Regarding hair, about 2 weeks ago, yes of course Jake, he was trotting towards the house n of course Sadie was running and tried nudging him on his path. For her it’s playing but she nipped him on the side of the face. Yes she got chit alright. It turned into a hotspot a good 3” long x 1.5” wide right on the side of his fold 🤬. . I put NuStock for a good 3 days. HS was clearing. I still continue with the Nustock for a week. His hair has at least grown back like a good half. You think that would work for Lambeau? As you already know , NuStock does regrow hair. Just a thought. 🤷🏼‍♀️

8/5 update – The big news for this update is we received the OK to wean Beau off the prednisone nd we are know at treatments (altered MVPP) every three weeks! We will do every other day of pred for a week then every third day for a week. He will be off pred next Friday 8/18! Our oncologist is very happy with how Beau is doing, still won’t call it remission, but the one node that is being stubborn is stable enough to back off the prednisone… which we are overly joyful about! Hoping that his belly will go back to normal (the roid belly.. swollen). Otherwise, he is doing great, poo is under control for now, he loves his nightly walks in his stroller, he is still eating well, play is few and far between, but he will still try to eat any dog that he sees, so we know he feels OK. Facial fur is returning, paws in front seems to have fur coming back, but belly, limbs from treatments are all still bare. Next appointment is 8/23.

@2BullyMama

Immune boosting diffuser blend

(You can also double the drops in his case)
3 drops frankincense oil
2 drops lemon
1 drop peppermint oil
(approx in 1 cup of water)

Ive been reading n researching a lot on peptide. For humans but we all know dogs have basically the same human health issues.

Ask your vet what he thinks of peptides. And yes I’m curious what he has to say. Unless you mentioned it in these pages n I missed it. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Called: peptide CD20

Generation of a canine anti-canine CD20 antibody for canine lymphoma treatment

THANK YOU!!! I'll have Lewis send the article to our oncologist for her thoughts on this. And, I'll start the diffuser for Beau. We are still doing the frank/myrrh drop a few times a week on that one stubborn node

My pleasure‼️

Keep using it, Frank/Myrrh is probably what’s keeping him stable. Weaning off meds the F/M will help keep red n white cells balanced.

8/25 update – officially off the prednisone!!!!! The down side of that, all his allergies have returned L, red/raw folds, interdigital cysts and runny eyes; so far his ears are staying clear. His facial fur s all coming back in, but the shaved belly is still bald.. not sure why. He is has very little energy unless food is involved. His next appointment is 9/20, his oncologist is going to aspirate the one stubborn node at that appointment and send out to a specialist for evaluation. She said it is very uncommon for a node to remain so stable for this long a period of time and she wants a cell specialist opinion on the matter. He is still doing the MVPP altered protocol, but I got the impression the protocol might be changing based on the aspiration results. She made the statement “once we get that information we will make a plan on our options.” We also noticed one of Lambeau’s front little “chicklet” teeth broke so Lewis too Beau to our vet to have it checked. Well, due to the cancer situation leaving it alone to see of the skin will grow over is not an option – we are very nervous as they want to do surgery to remove the tooth. Our vet is consulting with our oncologist to see what concerns she would have in doing the procedure.

Off prednisone n facial hair growing back is great news 👍

Cant they do a conscious sedation? Dentists often do that when people panic to get their teeth fix.

btw, Jojoba Oil helps grow hair….

Great news he is off prednisone and fur is growing back.

Have you tried Bovine Colostrum for his allergies? You give it 30 minutes before you give him breakfast and they lick it up by itself in the dish. It’s also good for dogs with cancer and no side effects.very helpful for allergies and overall great immune support!
Just a thought since you said his allergies has flared up.

I hope they can figure out a way to fix/remove his broken tooth.
Do you know what caused his tooth to break???

Thanks... I just order raw colostrum from a local farm so he will be back to getting his milk 😁. He used to get it, but I have no memory of why I stopped and went to keifer? 🤷‍♀️
What caused the break.. could be chewing on bones, rubbing his face on the furniture, no idea really. Lewis noticed it and was concerned about the fact it was right at the gum line so we did a vet check to ensure it wasn't infected. And, he we are 😢

Hopefully it helps his allergies, allergies is it’s main use, really good for immune system and cancer too and doesn’t have side effects!

I never use kefir anymore cause fermented foods causes and feeds yeast, for healthy dogs without yeast it’s good though🙂 for Lambeau the bovine colostrum is probably better.

Poor Lambeau, did the vet decide if they are gonna be able to safely sedate for surgery to pull the tooth??

Keep us updated! Keep improving Lambeau

conscious sedation is not an option... I'm praying the gum grows over before surgery, which is scheduled for 9/12. they wanted to do 9/8 but I'm not doing a Friday and then having to worry if something goes wrong we would have to find an ER that is open and can take him. so a Tuesday while our vet is open all week should any issues arise post-op
