61055693471__C4DD1483-B97B-4A75-82BD-6A97F1C107A2.JPG. This is Burwell. He's almost nine weeks old. He came home with us a few days ago and has made quite a splash. His vet visit on Friday put him at 10.7lbs. He's and active and alert little guy who enjoys his naps. We're crate training him and working on potty training too and he's doing surprisingly well at both. Once we've mastered those we'll move on to some basic commands. He hates his collar and hates it even more more attached to a leash. Nothing like a tantrum from a bulldog puppy. We're slowly digesting all of the information here, there's a wealth of it! Thank you!

Castor says hi to baby Burwell. He's adorable (or adorabull as it's spelled on the forum!).

WELCOME Burwell. You’re a little cutie! Trick for a leash is once in a while, leave it hanging on his collar. Let him drag it. Go a couple feet in front of him, call him, praise him. Repeat but a foot further n so on. Then grab the leash, repeat the steps.. :)

:welcome2: to EBN... Burwell is adorable!!!

Thank you all! It's been a busy week, working on potty training, with no accidents today, and getting him used to a collar and leash, which is still a work in progress. Once he's a bit bigger and can fit into a harness we'll try that.
